Adoption Fees

Cats: $160.00
Dogs: $320.00

Also included in these fees are all vaccinations (including Rabies), spay or neuter, the animal's blanket from the shelter and a supply of the animal's food to get you started at home. The pet will also be microchipped. Payment can be made by cash, debit card or Visa.

Rabbits and other small creatures are $25.00 depending on what comes with them (some come with their original cages, food and bedding etc). All bunnies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

Please note that some of our animals are kept at foster homes and not at the shelter. We suggest you call ahead if you want to see a specific animal and we'll tell you where he or she is located. Thank you.

Private Adoptions

From time-to-time, we will help an individual find a new home for their dog or cat. We usually do this by listing their pet on our website and by putting prospective new owners in touch with the current owner. Other than that the Upper Credit Humane Society is not involved in the adoption and any arrangements made are strictly between the old and new owners.
