WISHBONE
The Upper Credit Humane Society is launching campaign WISHBONE to
raise money for our short term and long term resident furry guests.
This program allows local
businesses and members of the community to participate in raising
funds for the animals in their community. It is a simple program
that does not take much time to implement and there is no cost to
you. The program will run from 1st May until the 31st
May 2008.
It involves some space on
your wall to display the paper bones purchased by the public in
support of the Upper Credit Humane Society, as well as the
collection of the funds donated. The bones are a dollar each and
the donor can fill out their name or their pet’s name on the front
of the ‘bone’ shaped paper.
In recognition of your
support, your business name will be displayed on our website until
the campaign ends in May 2008. Also, the business who has raised
the most amount of money by the end of the campaign will receive a
plaque for their location to show our recognition to their staff and
customers for their support of the animals at the Upper Credit
Humane Society. We would also like to take a staff photo from the
winning location to place on our website as a thank you for your
support of our program.
If you would like to
participate in campaign WISHBONE please call the Upper Credit Humane
Society at 519-833-2287. If you choose to
participate in this program you will be given an envelope with 100
‘bones’ to start off with and the volunteer will be in contact with
you on a regular basis to see if you are in need of additional
supplies and collection of funds.
The Upper Credit Humane
Society thanks you in advance for your participation with this
event. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at
519-833-2287.
